First, Kobe was drafted by the Charlotte hornets (1996). then, Kobe really wished that he would be a laker because he grew up as a laker fan. they traded Vlad Divac for Kobe. after that, shaq and Kobe became a phenomenal. they won champs together until shaq went for trading for Lamar Odom because of an incident. until then, Kobe improved more and more and then he became a star. that is how i think he was discovered.
