The great thing about softball is you can be any height. Tall players can jump for balls heading over their heads easier, but short players can duck under the tag and are generally faster. There is no set height for softball

You do not have to be tall to play volleyball. i am like a midget 5ft tall and i play all the time, in fact i have a leading role. plus some of the best teams i played, the whole team was short except 1 player. passing is every thing and you have to be really good to player make the team

softball comes in diffrent sizes based on age group.....

but they not messured in height but in diameter

they go 8in 10in 12in some 14in but that uncommon
