If you couldn't get hurt, then dirt biking wouldn't be fun anymore. My add to the previous reply... It is safe when a child races within his ability with proper training from a qualified individual. Racing in a competitive class as a novice is where I have seen most kids get hurt due to lack of experience and preparation. Too often a parent buys a 12 year old an 85cc bike and puts him in competition after only a few practices. That is scary.
its not that the tracks are safe or not its how safe you ride the track
No, the boys will never be safe from themselves

My family has been racing motocross for almost 9 years now, and in those 9 years in the Atlantic motocross scene there has been one person killedAnswerMoto-cross racing is a very safe but dangerous sport. There are more people killed in car wrecks yet, there are alot of moto-cross wrecks. The top amount said is a little bit over a hundred year. That's not as many as there used to be though. Also, if you have the proper equitment you wont get hurt. Also, all those wrecks don't include the injuries. There are not as many injuries as there is wrecks.

It's important to support and validate the young boy's feelings and experiences. Encourage open communication and provide a safe space for him to explore and understand his identity. Consider seeking guidance from a mental health professional or LGBTQ+ resources for additional support and information.
My best friend's son started at the ripe old age of 3. He is now 18 racing a KTM 525. It doesn't matter what age they are, they need to be taught the basics, how to respect the bike and other riders and wear the proper protection.
Bell helmets are very good, what I have worn for the last 30 years starting with the Moto 3 to my current Moto 7.
Knowing all the rules is necessary for safety of yourself and other riders. Wearing all the appropriate gear such as jersey, pants. chest guard or roost deflector, boots, knee braces or shin guards, elbow guards, goggles, helmet, gloves, kidney belt. Riding in a safe manner while racing is also important. Constant bike maintenance is also necessary to keep the bike safe to race.
Safe and sound
It protects its young, has birth in a safe place
Yes! You are referring to Motocross helmets, correct? I am a motocross mother/wife and both of my sons and my husband use them. They are very supportive and stylish at the same time. :-) Also, even for bikes, scooters, skates, and roller blades, it keeps your skull and head safe from hard contact and reduces damage to you.
