Depends on what make and model vehicle it is in. Park the vehicle on a level surface. Drain the oil and change the filter. Add 4 quarts of the correct weight oil, start the engine and let run for 2 minutes. Shut down and wait 30 minutes and then check the level. Add as necessary to reach the full mark.
