It would really depend on what product the salesperson is selling. For insurance a 1st year sales rep could plan on making between $25 - $65K. More if he is lucky. In the future years he could plan on doubling that amount. There is a saying in sales: "The harder I work the luckier I get". So in other words it depends on how hard the sales rep works.
