That question is actually pretty easy to answer. I will tell you the same thing I tell people when they ask me to build them a race car. How fast do you want to go, and what do you want to do with the car when not racing it. Local dragstrips have classes, or brackets, to keep things somewhat even, then they can handicap the slower car, at the starting line. So, you can race anything from a jet car, all the way to your Mom's Focus. Therefore, each level is going to cost acordingly. The car that you drive to work, about 20 bucks, for the weekend. A funny car, about 10-15 grand a pass! Start with your work car, and have some fun! Be careful, though. There is a nasty bug, that hangs out at dragstrips............
All based on: popularity, skill, team, and sponsor. In NASCAR a driver for a big team (Hendrick, RCR, ETC) a driver could earn 7 to 10 Million.
In F1 a driver for a big team (redbull, Ferrari, ETC) they could earn 10-15 Million.
but then you have to add in the sponsor and how much you get paid from your team and/or if the team want money from you.
Most don't make anything, but have to rely on their day jobs and sponsorships collected with huge effort to raise enough money to race.
Top racers like Michael Schumacher, make $56,000,000 a year. Other racers make far less than that.
Many don't make money from races. It's being sponsored by companies that get racers paid. And most sponsors would want a good racer to represent them.
Depends on the team, the sponsors, and how good you are.... Some AMA racers do not make any money, some are Privateers that actually PAY to race in the AMA!
Drag Me To Hell grossed $91,388,487 worldwide.
well, you get around $20,000. but you are lucky if you get to ride a ducati 1098r
The top 5 or so (factory racers) make about 6 figures
The amount of money a Top Fuel drag racer can make depends on several factors. The number of wins, the amount of sponsor support, the amount of endorsement, and the number of fans who support the driver all contribute the amount of money a racer can make.
Motocross racers change their mufflers for more speed. Recreational riders usually change them for the sound, the certain model mufflers or "pipes" will make dirtbikes much louder and faster
it depends on how much they win.
