There is no "Father of Modern Lacrosse". Lacrosse was first documented as an Indian game as an act of valor. Hundreds of men in a tribe would play lacrosse, much like people do now, except it was far more violent and to win was a show of you strength and manliness.
They are both good altheltic sports it all depends on what you like. Soccer really just depends on your athletic ability. Lacrosse takes it to the next skill level with sticks, cradling, checking, passing and catching.

Nothing much has surfaced publicly except that activision (makers of Tony Hawk Pro Skater) have purchased exclusive rights to the nll (American/Canadian indoor lacrosse league).
A pro lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League averages $14,000 US per year. Some may earn more due to star status or endorsements, but most players hold down "day" jobs and play pro lacrosse for the love of the game. No one gets rich playing lacrosse...yet.about now 1.1 million a year,
Not in college. In the pros they don't make much money and most have second jobs. Some players like Paul Rabil and Kyle Harrison make money off of endorsements from lacrosse companies like Maverik and STX.
