The oil pump on a 1985 Chevy Celebrity V6 is bolted to the rear main cap.
The inertia switch on a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEL is located in the passengers side kick panel.
pretty much no major parts are interchangable between the fox bodies and the newer mustangs
the engine is identical in both, I have owned both and saw no difference in the exaust manifold. Every Z24 engine in that date range have the same manifold, but I think the first couple of exhaust pipes past that are different in different body and 2or4WD versions, they certainly are different on the King-Cab. Then the rear pipes, muffler, etc. are the same.
I have a 1986 which should be the same. Under the dash on the driver's side next to the door is a pull handle that rotates down toward the rear of the car. This releases the hood latch.
You didn't specify what engine, 4, 6, 8? Anyway in an 8cyl Chevrolet engine, 18436572 jr

First, with engine off make sure the heater hose will come off easy. With engine at operating temp. and heater inside car on high, slowly open the heater hose to let out any air that is trapped. Yes, fluid will come out also. Do this a few times and check inside temp.
this should be back and forth ,but its not so here is my version, first 84 strut is a shock absorber, second a spring perch if the shock absorber is out the the front will bonce up and down, broken spring front will set a little lower than normal and probably have a clunk at various times as for the mounting bolts, well if they're broken your not driving
