From the 56 years span between 1950-2006 there are 119 different New York Yankees yearbooks. There are 85 different just in the 27 year period from 1956-1982, and there are three or more different for virtually every year in that 27 year stretch including five different from one year. Different publication include Jay publishing Co., official Yankees first editions, 2nd editions, 3rd editions, and revised editions.

A 1961 New York Yankees yearbook with Yankee Stadium on the cover is worth between $90.00 - $150.00 Value is based on average prices from recently closed auctions of publications in excellent condition. Issues in mint condition or in less than excellent condition will sell higher or lower accordingly. There are three editions of the 1961 Yankees yearbook. The first edition roster page 11 dated April 11, the Second edition roster page dated July 17 reads "Revised Edition" on the cover, and the third is a Big League edition put out by Jay Publishing picturing drawing of a player pitching and has a lower value.

Different publication include Jay publishing Co., official Yankees first editions, 2nd editions, 3rd editions, and revised editions.

A 1973 New York Yankees yearbook with the cover featuring a Yankee Stadium backdrop, Dimaggio-Gehrig-Mantle-Murcer-Ruth artwork has a book vale of about $15.00 - $25.00 Value is based on average prices from recently closed auctions of publications in excellent condition. Issues in mint condition or in less than excellent condition will sell higher or lower accordingly.

Common flaws include: rips, creases, staining, and loose pages. Condition is important, and even minor flaws could devalue the yearbook significantly.

There are three editions for the 1973 yearbook. The first edition roster page (34) dated April 9, the second edition dated May, 14, no indication on the cover that it is the second edition, and third edition dated July 5, no indication on the cover that it is the third edition. All thre editions have a Yankee Stadium 50th Anniversary 32 page special insert. The Third edition is printed on white paper insted of light yellow of previous editions.

First editions in the case of yearbooks normally sell for less because they are sold throughout most of the year, and more are available. The added editions are printed at the end of the season, and are more rare. The third edition for the 1973 Yankee yearbook sell for about $5.-$10 more than the first. I have included a link below to a New York Yankees yearbook check list, and price guide.

What is the value of a 67 NY Yankee yearbook sign by Dooley Womack Ruben Amaro?

The value of a 1967 New York Yankees yearbook in near/mint condition is about $40.00 - $75.00. Condition is important on getting top dollar. the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. Common flaws would be staining, foxing (yellowing), fading, stains, creases, rips, loose pages, cracked binding, and writing on the cover. The signatures on the cover would be considered as a flaw in the condition of the yearbook to a collector of yearbooks. Therefore the bulk of the value will rely on the value of the signatures, which in this case will be less than the value of an unsigned yearbook. The value of a 1967 Yankee Yearbook with the signatures of Dooley Womack, and Rubin Amaro on the cover would most likely be in the $15. -$25. price Range. If the signatures are on the inside of the yearbook then the yearbook will retain most or all of it's value at about $40.-$75.
