No, Oregon is not in the desert biome but a small area of the Great Basin Desert does enter the southeastern corner of the state. Much of the eastern half of Oregon does have semi-arid grasslands, however.

The Oregon State University office of financial assistance is estimating the annual cost for in state residents of attending for the academic year 2008-2009 to be $18,500, which includes room and board, tuition, books, fees, and miscellaneous expenses. More detail on in state and out of state may be found at http://oregonstate.edu/admin/finaid/COA.html.

The Willamette River is the longest river "in" the State of Oregon. The Columbia and Snake are both much longer but are not completely "in" the State of Oregon.

how much do industrial painter get paid in Oregon state
First of all.. there is no such thing as Oregon University. It's Oregon State University, or University of Oregon. Both completely different. All colleges are party schools. Eugene (University of Oregon) is a drug town, total tweakers. And Corvallis (Oregon State) is just a normal party school, with a beautiful campus. Hope this helped! And hopefully you're not picking a school based on parties. If you are, go to Florida :)Eugene is not a drug town though every town has its issues and bad areas; I'll admit that. I have lived in the Springfield-Eugene area my entire life and have attended the University of Oregon for the past few years. Eugene is a fairly liberal town (though not as liberal as Portland) with people from all walks of life. I'm not a partier myself, but I know people who are and Eugene has a great night-life. Any school you go to you'll find parties. The University of Oregon's campus is just as beautiful (if not more) as Oregon State. Additionally, Eugene is a much larger city than Corvallis therefore there are more things to do/see. Now you have both opinions, one from a Duck and if I had to guess I'd say the person before me is "Powered by Orange." ;) (Playful jest). Hope that helps.
