Alot of money...up to 10 million dollars!
Depends on what you win
No, but it means you're getting closer to being one. Now all you have to do is ask you sponsor to get you into am tournaments & win, win, win. Then you'll be offered a deal by a major deck company.
the same as the guys make depending on how many compitions they win.
Become a good skateboarder, Get a sponsorship from a skateshop, impress the skateshop owner, win amateur tournaments (such as the Tampa Am), (if offered, which you most likely will be if you won lots of am tournaments) Join a major deck company, then impress deck team manager to the point where he realizes you've been a pro for years.
Depends on what you can negotiate your contract for, what your results are and how many races you win.

It's a sport that takes years of practice and dedication. Start off with videos and send them to companies you want to sponsor you. Get noticed by skating in local skate competitions, and try your hardest to win. You are determined pro whenever you can make a living off your sponsors, so just get to that point.
Yes. Ryan Sheckler is the youngest skateboarder (currently) to ever win a gold medal at the x games. He was only 13 when he won this medal.
