The World Anti-Doping Agency removed caffeine from it's list of banned substances as of the 2004 Games.
However, it is still being checked for in the samples from athletes and should elevated levels be commonly found, the World Anti-Doping Agency has said it will revisit the issue and possibly ban it's use again.
