On your US Federal tax return, if you file a joint return, you will each receive one personal exemption. You will not receive an additional exemption for being over 65. However, your standard deduction will be increased and you may qualify for the Credit for the Elderly or Disabled, see Schedule R. Who started the masters golf tournament?

The Masters is the first of four mens Professional Golf Majors each year. It differs from the other three as it is the only one to be held at the same course every year, Augusta National, Augusta Georgia. The course is a par 72 and is well known for it's tricky holes, fast greens, steep bunkers with brilliant white sand and water hazards. The most recognisable feature of the course is probably it's flowers which are in bloom the whole way through the tournament. It doesn't have a trophy, as the winner receives a green jacket. The winner also receives a life time exemption to the Masters, which is why you see some of the great champions of the game back every year.
