First you have to train the fish. Click on the fish - if it is healthy and well fed, at the lower left corner of the box that pops up will be a button that says 'train'. Click on this button. You will be taken to a mini-game. If you succeed at the mini-game, your fish will be able to do one trick. There are seven tricks in all, and you must pass the mini-game seven times for your fish to learn them all. You have to do this separately for each fish. Training doesn't seem to increase the fish's value by much, if at all. To make your fish display tricks, use the little green hand that says 'tap glass' and tap the glass near your fish. If it has been trained, it will display one of the tricks it has been taught. You can also do this in other people's tanks.
