Not every football pitch is exactly the same size, which makes the answer this question produces very different. According to "Association Football Pitch" - Wikipedia - the average dimensions for a British Premier League Soccer Pitch measured 104 x 68 meters, or 114 x 74 yards. If this was the case, then running one lap of a soccer oval would be equivalent to 344 meters.

So...

1600 / 344 = 4.652

In other words, jogging around a soccer field just over 4 1/2 times would equal the desired distance you're after.

Of the three scenarios, your safest assumption is with the first, unless you can see it is very unusual in size in the fact it is either extremely big or extremely small.
