You need 7 team fouls to go to the line for bonus and 10 is double bonus.
You need six fouls to get fouled out in a NBA game.
You need two
First off U need 7 team fouls for bonus and 10 team fouls for double bonus. In bonus U get every foul (other than shooting) U get 1 free through and the ball after that. If U get a shooting foul in bonus, every foul shot made U get 2 points. And in double bonus U just get 2x what I just said. Go 76ers! Go Allen Iverson
1) You need to score more points than the other team by shooting the ball through the basket in either 4 quarters or 2 halves. 2) You can't walk with the ball - you need to dribble it to move with it. This is called a travel. 3) You can't pick up the ball after dribbling it and dribble it again. (This is called a double dribble.) 4) You have to stay within the out-of-bounds lines when you have the ball. If you don't, this is called out-of-bounds. You also can't go back over the half court line once you've crossed it; it becomes a new out-of-bounds line. This would be called over-and-back. 5) You get foul shots if a person from the defense team fouls you while you are shooting. Fouls include hitting the shooter, etc. 6) If you shoot the ball from behind the arc, it is worth three points. 7) In some games, there is a shot clock, which you have to get a shot to hit the rim before the 30-45 seconds runs out. 8) You are allowed 5 fouls individually. Once you get more than five, you fouled out, and you aren't allowed to play for the rest of the game. 9) As a team, you are allowed 7 fouls a half, before the other team gets foul shots, whether its a shooting or non-shooting foul. 10) You have to have good sportsmanship. If you don't, the referee can call a technical foul and the other team gets two foul shots and the ball, and you are out.
An offensive foul is a foul committed by the team with the ball. For an example: if someone with the ball runs into someone one the defensive team, the ref may call an offensive foul (also known as "charging"). How ever if the defensive player wants to draw those type of fouls they need to "plant their feet" meaning they cannot move their feet, they must be still. But the rule is not perfect, sometimes they ref may call defensive foul (also known as "blocking"). Most blocks are called if the defensive player wouldn't set his feet, immediately jumps in their way, or stand in the "restriction area" (the arc shaped thing under the goal), those should be obvious blocks. NOTE:offensive fouls result in a turn over (other team gets ball).
