The minimum number of signatures to be considered to be a team signed Baseball would most likely vary from collector to collector. For the most part 15, 17, 21, 25 or more. I have heard of collectors considering 12-15 signatures to be sufficient. A baseball with 9 signatures or less might put it below the borderline, and ten it would be considered a "team" multi signed baseball. If the baseball has most of the key signatures it could pass as a "team signed" with a lower value. The more signatures and key signatures, the more valuable.

What is the value of one baseball signed by the Cubs and one baseball signed by the Tigers in the 1945 world series?

A 1945 Chicago Cubs Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Cavarretta, Grimm, Johnson, Hack, and Wyse is worth about $350.-$500. A 1945 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Greenberg, and Newhouser is worth about $350.-$450. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. What is the value of a Baseball signed by Babe Ruth Twice?

One of the most prized signatures in the hobby a Babe Ruth single signed baseball in general is worth about $6,000.-$10,000. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Muti-signed baseballs that were passed around during the signing will sometimes have two signatures of the same player. I have never seen a baseball selling at a higher value because of this but then again I have never come across a baseball with two signatures of a player of Babe Ruth's stature. A team signed or multi signed baseball with two Babe Ruth signatures might sell at a higher price as a novelty. A baseball with two Babe Ruth signatures on the same baseball with no other signatures will sell at a significant higher price if both signatures could be viewed together when displayed. Otherwise the baseball will sell for more, but not twice the value. The baseball would have to be of the attention of collectors that find the duel signed Babe Ruth baseball intriguing, and have the money to spend on the novelty. The baseball might also be valued or compatible in price as a Babe Ruth signed, and inscribed baseball. Condition of the signatures will still be a factor, with each signature being graded on it's own merrit.

Baseball signed by many old players how do you find the worth?

Old Players Multi Signed BaseballThe baseball you have is a multi signed baseball, and could be a team signed baseball as well. You need to list the names that appears on the ball, and figure out if the signatures are from a team, or just Random signatures. If it is team signed you then have to figure what year the baseball is from. The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. This does not necessarily mean that two signatures will sell for less than one, but in most cases it does, or at least not the full value of the two signatures added up.Once you figure out what you have you could find the value using a price guide, or find closed auctions on line that are compatible to your ball.

What is the value of a 1957 team ball with Henry Aaron's signature. The signatures are faded and the ball is dirty?

A 1957 Milwaukee Braves Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Schoendienst, Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, and Burdette is worth about $1,100-$1,800. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If the signatures are faded on a dirty baseball it will bring the value down accordingly. Henry Aaron signed most baseballs "Hank" and if the baseball is signed Henry I would make sure the signatures are hand signed, and not stamped as with souvenir baseballs. If the signatures are hand signed then having the signatures authenticated will help in getting the most value. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less. For more information on team signed baseballs, links to full team rosters, key signatures, and price guide see Related Links below. I will also leave links to stamped baseballs for you to compare.

A 1942 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: McCarthy, Rizzuto, Dickey, DiMaggio, Ruffing, Gomez, and Gordon is worth about $700.-$1,000. How do you know it the 1964 autographed 1964 cardinal baseball is authentic?

Authenticating SignaturesYou would have to first determine if the signatures are hand signed or stamped on as a souvenir baseball would have. A stamped signature would have no variation, the ink will be too consistent throughout.. Once you have determined if the signatures are hand signed compare the signatures to other signatures on line that have been authenticated to see if they are similar. If you feel that the signature are likely hand signed authentic signatures you would then need to have them professionally authenticated by a company like PSA/DNA or JSA. Before spending money be sure that they are likely hand signed authentic signatures. Do your homework.
