It depends. In juniors its 2 out of 3. Meaning you play 2 sets and if you split you can either play another set or a 10 point tiebreaker. Or if you want to play like the professionals they play 3 out of 5 sets. To win you have to win 3 sets.

∙ 13y agoThat depends on where you play. In Grand Slams, you play best of 5 sets (first to 3) in the mens section. In the woman's section, you always play best of 3 sets (first to 2).

there are 4 empires in the match 2 in the field and 1 display the tv and 1 show the replay
You must win 4 games to win the set so that the final game score would be: 5-7 you must win by a minimum of 2 games and in this case u must break your opponents service play at least twice But if they were to win a game and make it 6-6 before you could win that final game then you would have to go into a tiebreaker where to win you must get 7 points AND also be winning by 2 points at the same time hope this helped =]

This depends on a lot of things. One set requires a minimum of 24 points to be won by one player. Some mathes are one set, some are best of 3 sets, some are best of 5 sets, some are best of 3 sets with the 3rd set being a match tie-break (first to 10 points but must win by 2 points. Eg. 10-8 or 13-11 or 24-22 etc.). Most tennis matches are best of 3 sets. This means that the first player to get 2 sets wins the match. The player will need a minimum of 48 points. I hope this answered your question. But there are too many things to depend on to win a match. One match can take over 1,000 points (even though it is very, very, very unlikely).
Usually in the major tournaments one player plays one match in a day.
They play 3 out 5 sets so a player can win by winning 3 sets in a row. However if each player gets 2 sets each by plaing a 4th set they play the 5th set until one player is 2 games ahead so it can go on for a long time!
Men play a maximum of 5 sets and Women play a maximum of 3 sets. Obviously in mens they play 3 sets only if one player wins all of the first 3 sets as the opponent can't come back with 2 sets left. Women play 2 at minimum for the same reason.
