Runs are scored by the batting team by hitting the ball. The batsmen can try and hit 6's or 4's. even if you don't hit a boundary you can still run 1,2,3,4,etc it is wise to stop running when the ball is close to the wicket.
To have the most number of runs after the end of the 7 innings. Runs maybe scored by putting the ball in play (hitting a pitched ball in the infield) and running to each base without being put out.

It means no run was scored from a particular delivery. The term originates from cricket scoring notation, where instead of a number when runs are scored, a small dot would be written instead to indicate that delivery resulted in no run.
2
only 2 runs because in free hit a batsman facing the ball can't be caught out but he can run out in free hit ball. So if players have completed 2 runs before the ball was caught then only 2 runs they will get.

yuvraj singh scord sis 6 in six ball i an over
When a ball is hit out of the ground, six runs are scored by the batsman. A six is scored whenever the ball crosses the boundary on the full, so it doesn't necessarily have to reach the stands to be a six. There is no higher run-scoring shot than a six, so even if the ball is hit out of the ground and into the carpark, six runs is the maximum that can be scored.
