His father attended the Athens Olympics, but is watching Beijing from his home in Baltimore, Maryland.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games are in London, England. New Mexico would be a terrible place to hold the Olympics. The USA is flat broke, New Mexico is hot as heck during the summer, they don't have the facilities to hold the people that would want to see the Olympics live in person. The Summer Olympics should have a permanent home in Greece and the Winter Olympics should have a permanent home in Switzerland or Sweden. That would save a lot of people a lot of money having the Olympics in different places every 4 years.
we stay home watching tv. it's boring.
yes , because when the 2012 Olympics come taxes , debts will increase which there will be financial increase when it hits home and more unemployment's. Its the governments fault do they think were that bloody rich its going to affect a lot of British citizens
alot of people would rather go the movies then be at home
You shouldn't. Stay home and watch it on TV.
Greece is the home of the Olympics
In the 2012 Olympics, the sailing will be at Weymouth. Lucky I'm about 10 mins walk from the beach :)
People who are interested in competitive sports watch the Olympic Games.
It allows you to be entertained in your house by people you wouldn't have in your home.
Cable companies have no way of knowing what you are watching. Television ratings are performed by companies like Nielson. They can put a device in your home that hooks up to your cable outlet and that device would report to that company and they compile a list of what people are watching. There lists are then put into percentages of how many people they monitor and then it is assumed that if 30% of the people they are monitoring are watching something then so is everyone else. It is not a big percentage of people that are monitored. If you were asked to be monitored the company that is monitoring you would also pay you to have that device in your home.
