There should be enough for at least three stunt groups (a flyer, two side bases, and a backbase.A front spot is necessary for teaching beginners but optional for more advanced cheerleaders) so you can create a cool looking pyramid but you can have more if you like but no more than 36 people or if your competing in open cheer than you can only have 24 people and special needs cheer is unlimited.
