Pas de deux is a ballet movement.
A ballet duet is traditionally referred to as a 'pas de deux,' or dance for two. It is where a danseur and a ballerina come together and dance a series of solo and partnering variations during a classical ballet. Some famous pas de deux's are the Black Swan pas de deux in Swan Lake and the Don Quixote pas de deux.
