Robert suffered a concussion and a sprained ankle in the crash at the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix. He was held out of the next race, the United States Grand Prix, and replaced by Sebastian Vettel.

On a side note, Vettel finished 8th in the 2007 United States Grand Prix and became the youngest driver (19 years, 349 days old) in F1 history to score points in a race.
