Ricky Ponting made his international debut on the 15th February 1995, in a One Day International against South Africa at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, New Zealand. This means that as of 25th January 2011, he has been a member of the Australian cricket team for 15 years, 11 months and 10 days.

well....ricky ponting has made a few preety crazy decisions in the ashes series so far...if i had to choose who would be the Australian captain next year i would choose Michael clark because he is in preety good form and ricky ponting hasn't been the best of captains in the last 6 months........ but its not my decision NICK....DAGANGSTA Ye i guess so but how do you know that Michael Clark won't stuff up but it's really not any of us decision
yes
The best cricket player in Australia is a hard one to answer because players go in and out of form. Ricky Ponting has been said to be the greatest player but he has not been performing to this standard recently. Hussey has been lacking his talent also during this season. Every body knows that Sir Donald Bradman was easily the greatest early on but modern day cricket is tougher. From my point of view Michael Hussey is the greatest player when he is in form.
From my point of view I think England have been very successful in the last year beating the Australians winning the 20 twenty world cup. So I think Andrew Strauss would be the best captain in the world.A another good captain is MS Dhoni he has been very successful being 1st in the test ranking.Ranking table1st Andrew Strauss2nd MS Dhoni3rd Ricky ponting
Sachin Tendulkar has played 188 test matches.
Steve Waugh and Mark Waugh Shane Lee and Brett Lee
No news on Cricket 10 but there is Ashes Cricket 2009 by Codemasters on PS3 and XBOX 360 and interstingly there has been a Cricket 09 lodged on the Australian Classification Board but no news of this by EA Sports either.http://www.classification.gov.au/www/cob/find.nsf/d853f429dd038ae1ca25759b0003557c/90e48208ca228898ca2575a900276af8!OpenDocument
