Well, it depends on how large is the pool. If you give me the pool's measurements and the swimming person's speed, then I will tell you how long does it usually take to swim these 20 laps.
im a 12 year old girl adn it takes me 6:27 SCY but thts my worst event
There is not a way to answer this question. You will have to tell me the rate he was going.
3 laps: 1st lap= 8min 2nd= 8.4min 3rd= 7.3min Total time= (8+8.4+7.3) = 23.7min It took the girl 23.7min to swim 3 laps
A lap is technically 2 lengths. And every 2 lengths in 50 yards. Therefore, you would have to swim 10 lengths (or 5 laps) to complete 250 yards.
25 meter long. Unless you are asking about time becuase if you are talking about time then it depends on what level you swim at. If you dogie paddle it will take much longer than if you used a freestyle stroke
3 laps takes 2.5 minutes → 1 lap takes 2.5/3 minutes → 20 laps take 2.5/3 × 20 minutes = 16⅔ minutes = 16 minutes 40 seconds.
I'm guessing not as long as it would take for you to swim there.
Okay...i know that when i go to swim practice, i swim for a good hour and a half. i know that while im there(swimming constantly)i burn about 1200 calories. So, it doesnt matter how many laps you swim; its how long and how intense. Your very welcome, Grace Kelly Katz5..... well if you want laps, you would have to swim 10-12 laps; there and back counting as one lap. So if you did that you would burn 500 calories, and if you were in a 25 meter pool you would have to swim about 20 laps; there and back counting as one.
You can't swim through space.
Less than half a mile, about .375 of a mile.
Yes, foxes can swim - however they don't usually take the opportunity.
A mile is equivalent to 1760 yards. In a 25-yard pool, you would need to swim 70.4 laps to complete a mile (1760 yards รท 25 yards = 70.4 laps).
1 mile = 1609 metres2.4 miles = 3861 metres1 length of a standard swimming pool = 25 metres, so 3861/25= 154.4 so if you swim 155 lengths then you have swum the full distance.
