I had surgery because I tore my acl, mcl, and my meniscus. It has been about two months now and I am hoping to play Golf soon. I have been told you can play golf after two months. Running begins at 4 months post-op. If rehab goals are met, sports are allowed 6 months after surgery, however you will need clearance from your doctor prior to resuming sports.

In some cases surgery is used to repair or replace damaged joints in different parts of the body. It all depends on if there is a procedure and or replacement part available to deal with your particular problem.
Arthroscopic meniscus surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to repair or remove damaged tissue in the knee joint. During the surgery, a small camera called an arthroscope is inserted through tiny incisions, allowing the surgeon to visualize and treat the problem without the need for a large incision. This procedure is commonly used to treat meniscus tears, which can occur due to injury or degenerative conditions. The surgeon may either repair the torn meniscus using sutures or remove the damaged portion of the meniscus, depending on the type and severity of the tear. Benefits of arthroscopic meniscus surgery include shorter recovery times, reduced post-operative pain, and lower risk of complications compared to traditional open surgery. Patients typically undergo physical therapy following the procedure to regain strength and range of motion in the knee. While arthroscopic meniscus surgery is generally safe and effe
Rotator cuff repair generally involves some type of surgery to re-attach the tendon to its anchor spot on the Humerous bone in the shoulder. A complete tear will not heal on its own, so surgery is unavoidable, but these days they can perform arthroscopic surgery which is not as invasive and has a faster healing time that traditional surgery.
Meniscus do not heal on their own. Vitamin D will not repair it, the only solution is surgery. All surgery does is detach the torn part hanging off to prevent further tearing. One can come back to sports from this injury with proper rehabilitation.
