The rules of Kickball are the same as Baseball: three strikes your out, three outs then change sides and the other team kicks the ball. The pitcher rolls you the ball instead of throwing you the ball.

If a player scores a hit, he/she gets to start circling the bases. Once the other team catches the ball, they have to stop. If a player passes all three bases and makes it back to home plate, his/her team scores a point.

well it's probably nine because kickball is just another version of baseball just that you use your feet instead of a bat. but you could do as many innings as you want because i don't think there is a pro kickball league therefore there isn't a set of rules like that.

Can the defense in kickball kick the ball at the runners feet and hit them with the ball on the ground?

It all depends on what type of kickball you are playing. In traditional kickball you don't even have to touch the ball. As long as the ball touches the runner, the runner is out. Even if the "kicker" kicks the ball at a runner that is not on a base, the runner is out. There are different kinds of rules about this type of situation that can be adjusted to your liking

What are the differences between softball and kickball?

In kickball, the ball is rolled down to home plate and you have to kick the ball. In softball, the ball is thrown underhand and you have to hit it with your bat. Sometimes in kickball, you can get pegged which is when they chuck the ball and you, in softball that's not allowed. Also in kickball, the ball is made of rubber, in softball its much harder and dangerous.

Did kickball evolve from another sport?

The earliest rules & diagram of kickball was from the Emmett D. Angell in his book Play that was published in 1910.
