**Given:**

The ratio of the three numbers = \(\frac{1x}{2}\;:\frac{2x}{3}\;:\frac{3x}{4}\)

**Calculation:**

By taking LCM of 2, 3 and 4

⇒ \(\frac{6x}{12}\;:\frac{8x}{12}\;:\frac{9x}{12}\)

Let the numbers be = P: Q: R

⇒ \(6x: 8x : 9x\)

The difference between the largest and smallest numbers = 36

⇒ \(9x-6x=36\)

⇒ \(x=12\)

**∴ The required numbers = \(6x: 8x : 9x=\) 6×12: 8×12: 9×12**

**⇒ 72 : 96: 108**
