∙ 14y agoIn Netball, players run to catch a ball in front of them or catch a ball passed high, and other ways. they must not infringe the footwork rule. Players cannot run with the ball. Players must develop different ways to land and jump for the ball, the can develop a turn in the air and step-ons. So need to develop or have good co-ordination to receive the ball without infringing the footwork rule.
They also must have good agilty to defend and get free from their defence to move to catch the ball. This needs to be done without contacting the opposing player so good co-ordination is used here too.

∙ 14y agoHere are some reasons that in soccer, to play well!! you need coordination, not just toe balling into nowhere.
First off, do you know how hard it is to get off a good shot at the goal when two defenders are knocking you off the ball, especially if they're good defenders. It is nearly impossible. You need great speed to get away from them and then great strength to get a nice powerful controlled shot off while on your back foot.
Another situation in soccer when you would need coordination is if your the goalkeeper, shots will be coming at you 80-90 mph and you have to first off dive in front of it and then keep the ball from getting past you. Or maybe a striker is running down the field on a counter attack all alone just you and him/her, you come out of your line and tackle the ball before they can get a shot off and you have to be brave to do that because do you know how many times I've been hit in the nuts by that???
One more reason is when there is a cross, have you ever seen a bicycle kick?? Have you ever attempted one?? If you have then there is no reason you should ask this question. To do a bicycle kick and kick it accurately?? While sprinting as fast as you can down field.
My final reason why soccer requires athleticism and coordination is the average midfielder runs about 35 miles a game with no stop. I don't think you could do that.
You have to be in peak fitness to be able to do that.
There are many more explanations for why soccer need coordination but I cannot list them all so................
People who have never played soccer for real, not parks and recreation soccer, but in a real competetive league with players that actually can play well are the only people who can say how hard soccer is. Yeah sure I'll admit it, some soccer leagues anyone can play, because they don't play it the right way. They get subbed every 5 minutes, and when they are in they don't even run half of the time.

yes it should be used in all netball games
Ball skills, hand-eye coordination, movement skills such as running, stopping, turning and dodging and aiming skills associated with passing and shooting are all very important and will developed by playing netball.
a size 4 ball is used for high 5 netball (which is what younger players play) and a size 5 ball is what is used in 7s netball which is what adults play x
If there was no ball it would not be called netball it would be called net
Short quick bursts of energy, like jumping or leading.
