around 25 lbs or so.
That is very light for a bmx, 25lbs is average
depends the age and size
Most hyper bmx bikes are heavy so most likely not unless your not jumping high
Depends you can get good reasonable light weight bmx for around $250 and theres some bmx bikes on walmart.com for only $90 to $100 but there heavy and they dont last long
i am 14 going on 15, im 5''7' height and 9.5 stone in weight and i have an United Recruit RN1 2011 BMX which weighs 25.5 pounds, i am relatively strong for my size, not MEGA strong but slightly stronger then average and my BMX is perfect (FOR ME) ^_^* but remember it all depends on your size ,weight and strength! E.g. Weak Guy + Lighter BMX = BETTER :) Hope This Helps!
Yeah average
15lbs and up! It depends upon what the bike is made of. The department store bmx bikes are the heaviest more in the 25lb+ range. If your looking to actually race bmx. A retail bmx is not a good choice. They also cannot handle the track conditions and are very heavy!
30.65 Lbs Diamondback Viper X is 28.7 Lbs
Redman BMX frames are very good, but overpriced.
yes pretty heavy , an average bmx is around 22-27 lb :) Your really lucky my bike is 37 pound 1/3 of my weight :o -No average is about 24.5 lbs im getting rid of my bike because it is 28 lbs and way to heavy. My brothers ugly cheap walmart bike is only a pound more than my bike. Get a fit bike or a we the people. No way you can really do anything on a 35 lb bike.
There's no telling. The BMX is probably smaller, so it should be lighter. OTOH they're often amazingly chunkily built and can be surprisingly heavy.
20 kg would be very heavy for a BMX, and the extra weight would make several tricks harder. But if you can do them that bike should be close to indestructible.
