To be honest, weight is probably one of the least relevant measurements in irons. They are basically standard.
The TaylorMade Burner cavity-back iron was introduced in 2009, according to the Innovation History timeline of the TaylorMade website.
It is a good driver, but there is also the R9 which is a lot more technologically developed. It all comes down to personal preference, if you go to any good golf shop they will let you try as many as you want and you can see which one you like and hit the best. If the question is, is it worth buying then probably not as Taylormade will bring out a new driver in 6 months time, you could try the previous burner.
