Jordan was on the olympic dream team that inspired todays players and showed the world the type of tallent the NBA has to offer. he has won the dunk contest, the all star, finals & league MVP's, scoring titles and won three consecutive finals two different times. during the height of his career there was no rival superstar that could take over a game in the league, magic and bird had retired. he was the only best of his time a rareity in the nba, most superstars have rivals during their time. Kobe lebron, magic bird, wilt and bill Russel so on and so on. you can argue the 1990's were the midevil ages of Basketball with good tallent and only one great tallent. today basketball is in its golden age with Kobe, lebron, wade, dewight howard, carmelo, chris paul, tony Parker all under 30 years old, along with older superstars like ginobli, Tim duncan, Shaq, Steve Nash, Kevin garnet, Tracy MacGrady, vinvce carter and ray Allen etc. not to mention some very young prospects like Kevin durrant, Brandon roy, devin harris , Andrew bynum and derrick rose all bairly old enough to legally drink.
