∙ 15y agoAs a soccer player for 13 years I cannot list all the things I have learned. Besides the rules of the game, and how to play better and how to run faster, the life lessons that I have learned will always travel with me. I learned how to be part of a team. How to work together with 17-18 other people to reach a common goal. I also learned how to be a leader. How to take charge in positive and negative situations. I learned that you need to keep your head up no matter what and always strive to do better, and to be better. Soccer has had a huge impact on my life physically and mentally. I feel as if I am a stronger person because of soccer.
