that depends a lot on what level and age the gymnast is. that also varies from gym to gym. i am a level 5 gymnast and i go to the gym at least 9-12 hrs a week. but i have a friend who is trying to get to level six and goes around 15-20 hrs a week. if you were wondering about exercises, we do anything from chin-ups, push-ups, running laps, squat jumps, and handstand walks, to hanging from the bar and touching your toes to your hands, doing push-ups while someone else does push-ups with their feet on your back, or sit-ups and lunges.
