When you are selecting a play before you select a play on offense or defence press L1. This will bring up a menu choose strip ball set to aggressive. If you are on offense when doing this press L1 again to see defensive menu.

NO... you would have to steal it ... stripping the ball like in football would Intel that you wrestling for the ball in basketball they will call it a foul or a jump ball if you try to strip it ...
Yup In ncaa, nfl, high school or pretty much any other type of football the offense must advance the ball 10 yards in 4 downs to earn a new set of downs.
The strip in football refers to the act of forcing an opposing ball player to lose control of the football. This usually takes place during the act of tackling. Stripping techniques defer based on situation but may include: punching or pulling the ball out of the hand or hands of the opponent with any part of the body or padding that is legal to strike with.

Faceguarding is a perfectly legal technique in the NFL and NCAA. That's not correct. NFL is perfectly legal as long as no contact as made. NCAA does not allow faceguarding, you must turn around and play the ball.
A button, just like in NCAA 12
The NFL football is known as "The Duke". Not all college football teams use the same kind of football. The one that I am familiar playing with is the GST and it is more round and a little bit wider than an NFL football and the tips of the ball are not as pointed.

The two uprights are treated as if they extend upward to infinity. So the height of the ball as it passes over/through the uprights does not matter.
