Then begin at your forehead. Next, Place the front edge of the cap against your forehead and ask a friend to pull the back of the cap over your hair. If you do not have a friend with you, put your hands inside of your cap and slowly stretch it back over your head. Lastly, Starting at your forehead, pull the swim cap back and down, scoop your ponytail or bun into it, and let it snap in place.

Hold the seam part of the cap on your forehead with your hands. Have a friend grab the other end of the swim cap and quickly snap it over your head. To do it yourself, put the seam of the cap on your forehead, grab the other end of the cap with both hands and quickly snap the cap over your head. Another technique is to put both hands into the cap so that your fingertips run along the seam. Then put your hands above your head, spread the bottom of your hands apart, and bring the cap down over your head. It can take some practice to put a cap on, but it gets easier.
