You can make it sticky by leaving on duck tape on the bat without it touching the sides then leave it for 1 - 2 hours then take it of slowly the outcome will be sticky but this helps you to control and mainly spin the ball better. Some people have different padding. My first bat was the Dunlop Rage Blaster i tried the duck tape but it was no use but then i went to Sports direct and bought the Dunlop extreme it has different padding and you can add duck tape to that and you will get a exhilerating outcome.

It's OK if your bat hits the table when you are playing your shot. The only time it would be a problem is if you moved the table at the same time. If you move the table, you lose the point. The official name for a bat is a racket, but it's called a paddle or a bat by some people.
The Table-Tennis bat has no limit to size. It can be as big as you want it to be.
A racket has strings ... a bat is solid a bat is used to hit a leather ball which is very hard as compared to normal tennis ball So we can say that a bat is used to hit stronger things but both can be used for beating hahaha!!
