You can "pancake" them. You can do this by putting makeup on them to make thema darker color. You usually use a mouse or a liquid makeup to do this.
To make pointe shoes both the physical and chemical science is needed. The shoes have to fit and come in various sizes, this is where physical science comes into perspective.
Just get makeup that is your skin tone and cover the pointe shoes and the ribbons, make sure that you put it on evenly.
"En pointe" refers to dancing in pointe shoes. Non-pointe ballet shoes are demi-pointe shoes, and the dancing is "en demi-pointe".
Ballet shoes are either slippers for practising or pointe shoes. Which, after a girl goes through pre-pointe possibly for one year, they can get pointe shoes then perform pointe! Guys do where ballet slippers but they do not go on pointe
I sawed her on pointe shoes in umbrella but her feet were wrong why to do it. she had to make the position of her feet better. i have been on pointe shoes for 5 months and my dance teacher taught me alot about pointe shoes. The music video for All American Girl. was like that too. Carrie Underwood was wearing pointe shoes. Her feet were WRONG! So the answer to that question is no. you should not be on pointe shoes without a permission of a ballet teacher. you must get fitted for pointe shoes. you don't want to much gap and space inbetween. your shoes cant be big or small
I would suggest that you ask your ballet teacher for recommendations. It is important to get properly fitted as the best way to injure yourself is to have bad fitting pointe shoes. As makes go, I would suggest Grishko (2007 I would suggest, if you are a beginner on pointe). Grishko do have a website so look there. When buying pointe shoes, if possible try on Pro-Pads or Ouch Pouchs as they make wearing pointe shoes more comfortable. However, make sure you try your pointe shoes with them in otherwise you may find that they do not fit. Buying a pair of convertible tights helps in a ballet class if you are buying Ouch Pouchs or Pro- Pads but again make sure you try your pointe shoes on with these tights. I would not suggest buying pointe shoes online as you cannot try them on. Sources Personal Experience
for starters, by a pointe shoe with a harder shank. or after you use your pointe shoes, put newspaper inside then. These are guarantied to expand the life of your pointe shoes.
There is none. You need to be professionally fiitted for pointe shoes. If money is an issue then I strongly suggest using the Jet box Glue which is used to make pointe shoes last longer. Search for them on the internet. I heard this helps a lot!
Demi pointe shoes are very flexible pointe shoes that don't allow you to go on pointe, but they help you get used to the feel of real pointe shoes.
Hi, Demi-Pointe shoes are safe as long as they are used correctly! They are not to be used to go on pointe in, demi-pointe shoes are designed to allow budding ballet dancers who are strengthening their ankles to experience the sensation of pointe shoes!
They usually either dye the satin from the beginning or, in some professional companies, the pointe master or mistress will know how to dye them as ready made pointe shoes. If you use Grishko's, you can order them colored.

Pointe shoes (aka toe shoes) are shoes that we ballerinas wear to enhance our performance. Contrary to popular opinion, Pointe shoes are not made out of wood, but of paper mache. The shoes give the illusion that we are on our toes, while in reality the shoes are supporting our weight and our toes are being cushioned by padding.Pointe shoes are not comfortable, though, and many blisters, bunions, and foot injuries come from dancing "en Pointe." To be able to dance on Pointe you must have had several years of dance and very strong ankles."If you are asking what Pointe shoes are then they are ballet shoes elevated to look like ballerinas where dancing on clouds. If you're asking what Pointe shoes do, they elevate a dancer to full pointe." -Dancecrazed
Pointe is part of ballet. When you get your ankles and legs strong enough your instructor with put you on pointe. If you are on pointe you wear pointe shoes special shoes that are made of satin and help suppoet your foot when you are on your toes.
It is physically possible...BUT... do not do it. It can break toes, feet, and possibly mess up tendens and muscles in the process. It also hurts. If you want to go onto pointe then you need to buy a real pair of pointe shoes. They are usually cheaper online. NO! DO NOT TRY THIS! This can break your feet. Demi pointe shoes are for demi pointe. Pointe shoes are for pointe. ANSWER 2 Hi, Demi-pointe shoes are used so that you can experience the sensations of pointe shoes without going on pointe. THEY ARE NOT FOR GOING ON POINTE IN! If you are only wearing demi-pointe shoes then your instructor obviously does not feel you ankles are strong enough for pointe work yet. If you do this then you face the chance of never being able to go on pointe because you have damaged you feet. So stick to demi pointe shoes for demi pointe and wait a while until your ankles are strong enough to go on pointe! PS you should never go on pointe before you are 12 as research has shown that the joints etc. in your feet have not fully developed!
Hi, It is impossible to gauge what size you would be in pointe shoes. Some shoes are made big and some are made small. There are also other factors in the fitting of pointe shoes eg. width! The only way is to be professionally fitted at a dance store! Do not buy pointe shoes over the internet unless you are a professional dancer who knows exactly what size ,width and make she wears!
No, you need to break in your pointe shoes yourself. Anaheim Ballet offers a video on breaking in pointe shoes. Just type Anaheim Ballet The Point, or just type in breaking in pointe shoes and videos should pop up based on that. Shutting your pointe shoes in a door helps. Good luck!
To make girls look like they were floating.
Yes, although pointe is not as common as demi-pointe for males. I have seen a few males in pointe shoes (white, not pink), but I think most males prefer demi-pointe.

ive honestly never heard that pointe dancers destroy there pointe shoes... on purpose They don't destroy their pointe shoes. They tear of the satin to the tips so they don't slip and they make cut or peel the inside sole. This allows the shoes to break in the way the dancers want.
