If you upgrade your battery, the gun should fire faster. Most airsoft guns are supplied with an 8.4V battery. You can go higher to 9.6 or 10.8, which are much bigger. The batteries that will get you firing at your fastest are Lithium batteries, which are usually at 11.1V. But be careful, because lithium batteries must be used with care; misuse can cause the battery to explode.

Also, one word of warning. Rapid fire wears down the internals, as does upgrading the battery. I would recommend taking your airsoft gun to a trained specialist to upgrade your gun before you put a bigger battery on it. Not doing so can potentially wear down your gun or even destroy it. You can upgrade the internals yourself, but you do so at your own risk.
