adjust the velocity, never shoot above 300 fps though
It is impossible to make homemade paintballs. Paintballs must have specific ingredients of fish oil, paint, water, and oil. As well as the ability to make it almost perfectly round and brittle.
all guns come with a velocity adjuster that allows you to slow the fps of the paintballs.
Yes they can. Even though an airsoft pellet are smaller and are faster then paintballs, the bunkers are made to withstand a very high foot-pound pressure before you would be able to puncture a hole into it. Just remember to maintain the bunkers well and keep them clean.
If a military is not using simunitions, they use paintball. The negative feedback of getting hit and it showing along with the ability to use powder or water rounds make it a much better option than airsoft.
It depends on the gun. if the gun is made to fire up to say 20 bps, it will only go up to that. But search 'walking the trigger' on youtube to find some instructional videos on how to pull the trigger faster.
There is not specific title for those in the paintball industry, but there are some names. Those who work on guns are considered "techs". Those who watch the games and make sure it is fair are "refs". Those are the only 2 names in paintball that are unique.
The cheapest place is of course a reatil store. But take heed! These are HORRIBLE paintballs, and if you go to a field, you will most likely get teased for buying them. If you go to a local paintball store, if can pick up a case for around $35 depending on the quality.
The dependent variable in this experiment would be the type of paintball marker. You must make sure you keep the other variables constant. Meaning using the exact same barrel, propellant and paintball types. If you use different setups on each, you have not proven that the marker itself was the key determining factor.

It depends on your area. If you are located in a busy city or town, then it is not. However there is no problem with shooting your paintball gun in a wooded area.
You should get the big big batteries.
This all truly depends on the area you are in. New Jersey has mostly urban cities, therefore it would be difficult to shoot it in your backyard without being unsafe. To make life easier, go to a paintball field.
