One good thing to check on is your grip. Having the proper grip on the seam will help on the rotation on the ball. Your wrist snap will help as well.

You could take a longer stride or throwing more over the top as well as just practicing.

How does softball relate to softball?

because of the kinetic energy ( the energy of motion) in hitting, pitching, running, and fielding.!! SOFTBALL RULES!!!

How does the pitcher pitch the ball in softball?

a pitcher throws a softball under hand in a circular motion

Is a softball motion easier than a baseball motion?

A softball pitch is a lot harder to master than a baseball pitch because the motion is so different than regular throwing. However, once the pitcher has the motion down, the softball pitch is much easier on the body than a baseball pitch. This is because the softball pitch is a lot smoother than the violent baseball pitch. It cause a lot less shoulder injuries than a baseball pitch.

Does softball involve newton's first law of motion?

Very much so. Everything about softball is about physics. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - a softball hitting a softball bat. The trajectory of a pop-fly can be described by physics. It is always a perfect parabola.

What causes the greatest increase in the motion of molecules in a system?

One thing that causes the greatest increase of motion of molecules is an increase in temperature.

What are the two types of softball?

The two types of softball are: Slowpitch- which is where the picture kind of lunges and tosses the ball underhand Fastpitch- unlike slowpitch, the pitcher actually jumps/leaps forwards, and does a complete circle motion with their arm. These pitchers are quite a bit faster than slow pitch- the average speed is probably around 55-60 mph for high school level players.

When a pitcher throws a softball to a catcher the vibration of the atoms that make up the softball is potential energy while the motion of the ball toward the catcher is non mechanical energy?

nonmechanical

How forces affects motion?

If force is applied in the line of motion, then motion will increase, but when it is applied opposite to the line of motion, then motion will decrease.

Dose the wind have an effect on the distance a softball can travel?

yes..."As a softball flies through the air, the air pushes back against it, resisting its motion and decreasing the distance the ball travels."...that is why

When the temperature of a substance the motion of the atoms that make up that substance .?

Increase, increase

Why doesn't softball have a raised mound?

In baseball, the ball is released at higher point (shoulders) in a downward motion. In softball, the ball is released at a lower location (the hip) in a straight motion.A softball mound is raised up about a 1/2 inch to help the pitcher push off.

Why do different grips change the motion of the softball?

If you grip a softball differently, sometimes it will change the motion. F First of all, it changes the spin. The spin can effect possibly where it goes, and the speed. So if you are looking to make the ball go slightly faster, throw a little harder, and maybe change your grip
