The starter solenoid can be replaced by removing the wiring harness. Remove the retaining nuts. The solenoid will come off. Reverse the process to install the new solenoid.
You must have a 10 mm 12 point box end wrench to take off the starter. 1 unhook the batteries. 2 disconnect the two wires from the starter. 3 remove the three 10 mm bolts from the starter. 4 you may need to tap the starer loose to pull it out.
im currently trying to take off the starter on a 98 esteem and i found it at the very back of the engine next to the firewall about half way up. hope this helps you. if you know how to take of the starter on a 98 pls let me know i am having issues taking it off.
One way to know, is to check the part number for each starter on one of the big parts houses' websites. If they are the same, odds are it will fit.
No, it will not, unless you have the mounting brackets for the sport bumper and a welding rig to weld it to your frame or you can drill new mounting holes in your frame to match. went the other way sport to non sport in order to place a bumper on my truck temporarily until I can find a reasonably priced sport bumper or after market off road bumper. hope this helps.
