Throwing the ball around the horn allows the fielders to stay focused and gives the pitcher time to prepare for the next hitter. There are several formulas to how the ball should be thrown around the infield, however the only real rule for a ball being thrown around the horn is it must end at 3rd base before being given back to the pitcher.
Usually positioned where they pick upthe worst dirt and wet. sometimes a good clean will do the job otherwise replace the horn, not expensive to buy.
It depends on where the out was made. Pretty much all the infielders catch the ball. The final player to get the ball in around the horn is the catcher who gives it to the pitcher.
Any dirt bikes that have high and low beam lights , a horn, a mirror, and a muffler are considered street legal in Minnesota. There should be a vin number also.
In baseball terminology, an "around-the-horn" double play occurs when the third baseman fields a ground ball and throws it to second for an out. The ball is then relayed by a middle infielder to first base for the second out. Since it is the longest way to make a double play, the term is derived from the nautical route from England to India via the horn of Africa.

I think either ball is tossed out, if there is a mark noticed on the ball. You will see the defensive team do this, b/c any mark on the ball enhances the batters ability to see the ball rotation on the pitch, thereby allowing him to effectively anticipate what movement the ball will make.
