You win exp points by finishing races, and beating others to the finish. You win more exp beating someone higher than your rank. Or you can sim on luis16's level, the best sim level around. Get three friends, wear your exp or kong hats, and sim together. If no one moves everyone gets the four hats and finishes. BTW, exp hat doubles exp, while kong increases by 1.5x.
