Try Goo Off, great for removing stickers. I know they sell this at Home Depot, possibly Wal-mart and Lowes.
I find most sticker and label goo comes off with rubbing alcohol. It's never failed for me!
you put hot water all over it than rip it off
WD-40 works. Spray some on a clean cloth and rub gently over the residue from the sticker.
One bar of soap a year ago, I left that sticker on because I couldn't be bothered to take it off any more, and HEY PRESTO! - the secret was revealed. Return the soap to the holder after use with the sticker facing down and it won't stick, it will dry off much better and it'll last much longer.

You can try using ice cubes to get a sticker off of a wood coffee table.
Pick it off with your fingernail or a butter knife, or get a damp paper towel and soak the sticker then pick it off
We use sticker all the time when manufacturing custom cut swimwear. Sometimes the glue comes off the sticker or part of the sticker stays behind with little edge area to lift. The best method we have found is too use a little paraffin. Soak a cloth and spot the sticker until wet through. This softens the glue and the paper lifts off easy. A gentle wipe almost always removes the residual glue.
The prepositional phrase is "off of his skateboard" but the compound preposition "off of" is poor English. You need only use the word OFF as a preposition instead of an adverb and say he "fell off his skateboard" which means exactly the same thing.
