There are a number of professional authentication services which provide assessment and documentation of autographed items, including baseballs. They charge for their services and certificates offered by some companies are more well-regarded than others, an important factor when choosing an authenticator. Be aware that fees are charged whether or not the item is deemed "genuine" or not. An autograph that is not authenticated by a creditable company could sell at half the price or less than one that is. Two of the top, and most trusted authenticators are PSA/DNA, and James Spence Authentic (JSA). Collectors will pay more for signatures authenticated by either one.

It may sound odd but in some cases PSA/DNA, and JSA authenticated signatures may sell higher than a Letter of authenticity from an unknown or less trusted authenticator that witnessed the signing even though PSA/DNA, and JSA did not. It's just a matter of collectors trust, and collectors will pay more for it.

Check the respective websites Show Schedule to see if they will be in the area that you live. They also do business through the mail. Before spending money on having the autograph authenticated do your homework. Find signatures on line that have been properly authenticated, and compare them to yours. If you feel comfortable that they are authentic then proceed. Try the helpful Link below to compare your signature. And I also left links to both Authenticators.

What is the cheepest website to buy a bat signed by Babe Ruth?

The answer to this question is simple . . . Coaches corner auctions Mycca.com. The only thing is , everything they sell is garbage , with garbage COA's . You get what you pay for , if you pick up a Babe Ruth signed baseball bat for a couple of hundred bucks , or even a couple of thousand bucks, it's undoubtedly a forgery . If I had a babe Ruth autographed baseball bat to auction or sell , it would be done through a reputable auction house and would be authenticated by either JSA or PSA. Without either of those authenticators signing off on it , Ill pass . You can expect to pay about 20-50 K for a Babe Ruth game usd baseball bat and it will come with outstanding provenance , proving it is such

A Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig duel signed baseball is worth about $15,000. -$30,000. What is the value of a Ron Guidry signed baseball?

A Ron Guidry single signed baseball is worth approximately $61 if it is on a Rawlings Official Major League baseball and is signed on the "sweet spot". These values assume that they are all authenticator by a reputable company. An autograph that isn't properly authenticated can be worth as little as half of the value of an authenticated signature. What is a Lou gehrig signed shirt is worth?

With COA's from AAunlimited.com or other reputable companies you should get a minimum of $3000 at any shop (framed of course), but if you take time to find a nation wide sports auctioneer and hand over the certificates of authenticity (coa) I'd go so far as to say well over $5K! What will up the value is COA's for the signature, for the fact he wore it and not just signed it and for any other history that is PROVABLE.
