Remove the material in the trunk that covers that side. This may entail removing the spare tire cover and the plastic piece around the trunk latch on the bottom. The holding nuts are those large plastic round things....they screw off and push on. Now you have access to two nuts that hold the entire tail light assembly. Remove the nuts and hold the assembly. Remove the light fixture that has the brake bulb and replace with new one. Check to see that it works before reinstalling.
