remove 3 screws and remove plastic under the dash then you will find 3 brass coloured screws around the clutch pedal plate attached to the car body remove them and be sure to remove the pipes connected the other side in the engine bay disconnect the wire by turning it and the whole unit should come out right your done tip for replacement top nut , tape the nut to your socket and start off by hand connect everything back up top up brake fluid and keep pumping the pedal after about 30 pumps your ready to try and put your car back into gear good luck its a bit tricky but doable please note the clips in the servo reservoir come out easily but be sure not to loose anything as it all needs to go back right your on the road good luck :o) any problem's email me

I try to shift gears on my Volkswagen golf with a clutch but it just grinds why?
try to make sure the clutch pedal is all the way down before you change gear. in no way shape or form should you have to floor the clutch everytime you shift gears, however, if you are still grinding gears while flooring the clutch, and if there isn't that little bit of give on the pedal i'd suggest adjusting or replacing the clutch.
