Once any player has touched it after a throw-in a goal may be scored.
The player who stands in the crease of the goal and blocks the lacrosse ball from being scored into the goal.
This is not a goal, the only thing that matters is the ball. For a goal to be scored the whole ball must have crossed the line.
The laws do not prevent a goal from being scored from a goal keeper's throw. In practice no goal keeper can throw it that far, so there are no known examples.
the last goal to be sco red by a goalie was ages agoo when Robinson for BLACKBURN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jon Casey was the goalie Steve Yzerman scored on. Up until that point, Casey had played a great game. Steve Yzerman was better.
Billy Smith, Ron Hextall, Chris Osgood, Martin Brodeur, Damian Rhodes, and Jose Theodore
The first Goalie to score a goal was Ron Hextall on December 8, 1987. If you don't count the Islander's goalie scoring on himself. EDIT: It has happened a few times. There are instances where the goalie did not shoot the puck into the net, but was the alst person to touch before the other team accidentally scored on themselves. Here is a list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_goaltenders_who_have_scored_a_goal_in_an_NHL_game
According to statistics I've read, about one in three times that the goalie is pulled, an empty net goal is scored. Extra attacker goals are scored at about 1/3rd that rate (1 in 9 or 10 attempts)
Wayne Gretzky scored his 894th and final NHL goal against the New York Islanders and goalie Wade Flaherty with 2:07 left in the 3rd period of the Rangers 3-1 victory on March 29, 1999.
