The Braves actually moved to Atlanta for the 1966 season.

It wasn't so hot, as there was a lawsuit that reached the Wisconsin Supreme Court that included a fine of the Atlanta Braves for $50,000 for violating Wisconsin antitrust law.

The facts show that fan attendance declined the last several years, but that was out of anger due to the fact that a new ownership group wanted to move the Braves to Atlanta to take advantage of better marketing opportunities. They barely drew 500,000 fans in 1965.
